AMD to focus only on retail box processors?

One hardware retailer sent in this - "It's being done for a simple reason - there is a significant grey market in AMD CPUs from places such as APD International - the "official" AMD sanctioned distributors (Legend, Digiland, Avnet) are only being supplied with retail box CPUs to try and make this grey market go away."
