Socket A Cooler Roundup - September 2001 - Page III
By Michael "Hughesey" Hughes

The Results

In this test, we can see that the coolers coupled with the delta fan clearly come out on top, while the top performer in this situation was tied OCZ Gladiator and Globalwin WBK38 both boasting maximum temperatures of 34c. It must be noticed, however, that all these coolers boast more than adequate performance levels for stock PC's and would all be suited to the average home user or OEM user.

Once again we see the OCZ Gladiator coming out on top, managing to keep the CPU at only 36c under load, which is only 2c more that when the cpu was at stock speed and voltage. The thermaltake mini copper orb once again brings up the rear in this test, but still manages to keep the cpu under the mentally scary level of 50c.
Onto the conclusion...
