Reviving the Ball Mouse
By Jarrod "sKuLLsHoT" Mast

INTRODUCTION

To start with, I will defend myself in saying that a ball mouse still doesn't compete with an optical but, there is no way that one should buy an optical mouse just because the ball mouse they have at home is crud.

Before taking any of this onboard, I want you to know that in following most of these instructions you will probably void the warranty on your mouse if you do care, by chance…

Anyway, the basic service, call it your "Radiator Top-up" equivalent for the mouse, is the main clean a mouse should get. The other service, we'll call the "Grease and Oil change" equivalent for the mouse, is the one I will get you to do that will hopefully extend the life of your mouse a little longer.

ON TO THE RADIATOR TOP-UP
